The Gas Turbine Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), also known as a waste heat boiler, is a pivotal component in modern Gas-Steam Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power generation systems. Huadong Boiler, through years of dedicated research and development, has successfully engineered a range of non-supplementary firing, deaerating, natural circulation HRSGs specifically matched for gas turbine applications. These units are designed for high adaptability, capable of handling the frequent start-stops and dynamic load changes typical of gas turbine operations, demonstrating superior regulation capabilities and operational flexibility.

Core Technical Features

Our HRSG units incorporate several advanced design principles to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and longevity.

  • Modular & Optimized Design: We employ a fully modular construction. This approach, combined with an optimized design and rational layout, results in exceptionally high thermal efficiency and significant energy savings.
  • Enhanced Heat Transfer Efficiency: The use of spiral finned tubes significantly increases the heat transfer surface area and efficiency. All piping and headers are engineered with fully drainable, "dead-corner-free" elbows, ensuring convenient, complete drainage for maintenance and shutdown procedures.
  • Advanced Structural Integrity: The boiler utilizes a sophisticated suspended or supported structural design, coupled with an internally insulated outer casing panel system. This allows for unrestricted thermal expansion and contraction, minimizing mechanical stress and reducing heat dissipation to the environment.
  • Reliable Water Circulation: We have optimized the design of each heating surface to manage pressure drop and mass flow velocity effectively. This ensures a uniform distribution of the working fluid (water/steam), guaranteeing safe and highly reliable natural water circulation under all operating conditions.
